"First of all, we just got engaged so we don't know the wedding date yet," Chen Fei began speaking in confident English. She wasn't intimidated by the aggressive reporters and paparazzi at all.

"Second, if you are good reporters, then you should be able to research how much my engagement ring costs without asking us point-blank and trying to present us as tacky nouveau riche who only care about the expensiveness of things. Also, let me tell you that I don't care about the price of my ring at all. The fact that my boyfriend who's now my fiancé gave it to me is enough to make me happy. Hearing her increasingly scathing words offended quite a few of the media representatives. Most of them, however, felt excited because what she was doing now would surely be hot news.
