Just as Lynn was pondering this, Harof suddenly spoke up. "Master Lynn, regarding this war between the church and the kingdom, what might the Prophecy Guild think?"

At his words, the discussion in the chamber instantly quieted down. Raphael and others suddenly remembered that apart from the Wizard Council, the Prophecy Guild also had members involved in this conflict.

This was a powerful external reinforcement! Although they didn't know much about this mysterious wizard organization, they gleaned hints from various sources. The few members of the Prophecy Guild they knew of were all outstanding among wizards.

To Raphael, members of the Prophecy Guild were a cohort of highly talented, knowledgeable wizards. Among them might even exist legendary wizards. Should they be willing to sincerely cooperate with the council, their odds of overcoming the church would significantly rise.

Under the expectant gaze of the assembled members, Lynn carefully responded, "Regarding this war with the church, there are internal debates within the Prophecy Guild. While some are in favor, many remain observant. Some believe that our strength alone might not suffice to defend the entire kingdom..."

"As for the leaders of the Prophecy Guild, I believe they might have some interest in that false deity," Lynn added.

"Could it be they desire to join the war against the church?" Harof expressed surprise, tinged with anticipation.

"I cannot say," Lynn shook their head.

Then, Aurora suddenly inquired, "I heard that when the Prophecy Guild allowed you into the wizarding realm, they entrusted you with the Ring of Secrets to be given to the wisest. So, did you give it to Harof?"

Lynn sensed the dissatisfaction in the witch's words and couldn't help but feel amused and puzzled. At that time, they only knew Harof among the legendary wizards. Both Aurora and Victorio were experts in divination and alchemy, but not the most suitable candidates.

"The Prophecy Guild never declines individuals as knowledgeable as the esteemed council members. The previous meeting was just a preliminary contact and understanding. I believe you'll receive an invitation at the next discussion," Lynn reassured.

Aurora and Victorio nodded in agreement. They remained intrigued by the Prophecy Guild, while Harof was both eager and anxious. The last time he attended a legendary assembly, he nearly made a fool of himself. The theories and conjectures about the formation of the world took him more than a year to comprehend...

The internal council meeting lasted the entire morning. Aside from strategizing against the god's descent, discussions centered on whether to fortify the capital or launch a proactive campaign to reclaim lost territories, even advancing into the empire's borders.

Hatar had urged this several times since almost half of the kingdom's territories were under enemy control, tarnishing the king's already faltering reputation!

After multiple deliberations, Lynn decided it was wiser to fortify for a while, especially focusing on ammunition production! During the defense of the capital, the Alchemy Association had developed a powerful weapon—the machine gun. Its performance on the battlefield was exceptional, with just three machine guns decimating hundreds of Punishment Legion soldiers within a minute—an astounding achievement.

Considering that these soldiers had previously pushed back thousands of royal guards and musketeers but had now become targets of the machine gun's firepower, maintaining ammunition supply could ensure their control over the war!
