Chapter 4137: Relief

The monster attacked fast and hard. Wanting to finish me as soon as possible.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

I defended against them while the meta-scan of it became more and more clear.

I know I should focus on killing it rather than finding out, how it had sensed me. If those powerful monsters sensed me; it would be game over.

Despite that, I am looking at whether it found me through forbidden power or not.

I have come across many such monsters. That I know where to look. The books in the library have helped too.

Roar!

It roared again and came even faster than before, with its claws becoming longer and sharper. CLANNNNG!

I stopped him with my sword, but not without a cost. I took a step back while the trickle of blood came out of the corner of my lips.

It's been over a month since a monster was able to harm to this degree.

"You are good. It's unfortunate, that we are fighting in a dangerous place like this," I said to the monster.

If we had been outside, I would have taken my sweet time to fight this opponent, but now. As soon as I get the data, I will start on my offensive.

I already got a complete meta-scan of it, but the part I am looking at is harder to scan.

It will take some time, and till then I will need to keep it in top shape. Not that I could injure it heavily, given the difference of power between us.

Still, there are a few ways I could finish the battle quickly.

Hun!

A few seconds passed. When I had sensed something. One of the monsters had entered the outer isolation layer.

It isn't only monsters given the how enormous area those two layers are covering, but other monsters are weak. They ran away as soon as they entered inside the inner layer and sensed the battle.

This one will not, and it feels as strong as the one, I am fighting.

If these two fought me together. It will be hard for me to finish the battle quickly.

I am worried, but there is nothing I can do, but hope, it will not cross the second later.

Seconds passed by and thirty-seven seconds later. It got out of the outer layer, but its relief was short-lived and it entered the outer isolation layer again.

The large area of the isolation field makes things complicated.

CLANNNNG!

I stopped worrying about it and focused on the monster in front of me which had nearly avoided my sword. Which would have been bad.

Roar!

It roared with frustration and anger, before coming at me once again more.

I could see the sheer amount of physical force; it was using to come at me. It is massive, enough to crush through the hill and put a massive hole in the mountain.

Finally, my seed mapped that small organ to the cellular level, and instantly my clone focused on the specific part.

There was nothing. It looked again but found nothing. Seeing that, a huge relief flooded my heart.

It did not sense me through the forbidden power.

With immense relief, I put my entire focus on the monster and moved toward it, while at the same time, pulling the strings.

Rip!

My sword ripped through its back, creating a deep bloody line.

I was going to the core, but the monster was strong, and the strings hadn't completely bonded it with all the layers. Currently, they are only capable of slowing down.

Though, now they are moving faster to bind it. Now, that it discovered them as they acted. RAORRR!

It sensed the threat and roared massively, before coming at it, me with fury.

It should have run away, and I would have let it. It would have made things easy for both of

us, but the monster is dumb. I can't expect it to make smart choices.

"You are making wrong choices," I said to the monster as it came at me and pulled the strings again as another layer appeared on it and attacked at the same time.

Rippp!

It was barely able to dodge it this time. Still, I was able to get some of its face.

There is blood on it.

A faint hesitation appeared on the monster's face, but a moment later it was crushed by the fury, and it attacked me again.

Rippp Rippp Rippp!

More and more injuries appeared on its body till it became bloodied, despite that monster still coming at me like crazy.

It is injured, but it didn't affect it much given its vitality and bastard protecting its vital organs well.

Even adapting to the restriction.

A few more seconds passed and came at me again. Just when we close. I pulled the strings, but this time it was different.

I pulled the strings on three layers of restrictions. Instead of one. I had waited for it, and it was a wise choice given how powerful restrictions have become.

The monster tried to avoid my blade reaching its fatal spot. Like it did many times, but this time, its luck had run out.

Puch!

The restrictions were too tight for it to dodge, and my blade pierced through its body into its core before releasing the energy to kill it.

The shine disappeared from its eyes, and I pulled it into my core before it hit the ground.

Immediately, I begin to wipe my signs while keeping an eye on the second monster. Which is

still in the first layer.

Seven minutes later, I finished and moved.

When I moved sufficiently away, I deactivated the isolation fields. Immediately the monster

sensed the energy, that second layer, keeping them contained.

It moved toward it. Reaching within a few seconds before sniffing it. Unfortunately, it found nothing. The monster is in my core, while I am a few miles away.

So, unless it has extremely powerful sensory abilities or could sense the forbidden power, it wouldn't be able to find me.
