Chapter 361: Learning The Truth

"I won't do that if I were you," Kenichi said as he held onto Petroski's right hand that was going for the gun. He knew that the guy won't be able to kill Natasha but on the off chance that Natasha shot him on reflex, the guy will definitely die.

"Who are you?" asked Petroski starting at Kenichi in surprise as he didn't see him move but he was standing beside him now when he was standing on the other side of the table right in front of him.

"I am a man whose friends you tried to assassinate through her" Kenichi said as he broke Petroski's right arm like a twig.

"Aaaahhhhh....." cried Petroski in pain as he fell on the ground clutching his right arm with his left hand.

"Now if you understand your position then you will answer our questions because of you don't, I may not be able to torture the information out of you but as her supervising officer you should know that she will be able to get the information right," Kenichi said as he crouched in front of Petroski and patted his cheek.

Petroski nodded his head albeit painfully. He knew that Natasha was an expert in getting information from his target, there was a reason she was the Black Widow.

"Good, then let me ask my questions first," Kenichi said while looking at Natasha.

Natasha nodded her head and allowed Kenichi to ask his questions as she wasn't sure that she would be able to control herself from killing Petroski.

"So tell me, Petroski, why did you send Natasha to assassinate Spartacus and his brothers and sisters?" asked Kenichi as he gripped Petroski's shoulder. "And don't lie, cause I will find out when you lie and when that happens you would beg to tell me the truth."

"I-I sent someone else to assassinate them but they were unsuccessful so I finally decided to send her," replied Petroski.

"So you were behind the previous attempts as well. This makes it easy for me, now why do you want to kill them?" asked Kenichi

"Because they are Fortuna's children. They inherited his fortune and most likely also possess all the evidence he collected from the deals he made to amass his fortune. I thought they came to Russia to blackmail me and were waiting for an opportunity to meet me so I decided to silence them before that." replied Petroski.

Hearing the answer Kenichi couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, if there was any such thing then either he or SHIELD should have gotten it by now, but he didn't have it so either SHIELD kept with them without using it or even they didn't find it.

"Why did you think that they would have the evidence to blackmail you? You should know Fortuna would never tell them or anyone about something like this." Kenichi stated

"But Fortuna keeps this evidence close to himself. His island was the only place he would keep something like this if SHIELD had gotten their hand on those then there would have been waves in the political world but none of that happened so it's clear that someone else did. After investigation, I found that Fortuna had named his will to one of his sons, so I knew that only they could be on the island and get the evidence they need." explained Petroski

"So that's how it is?" Kenichi said

"You have to understand that it is not just me who will try to kill them. Fortuna has a lot of enemies. That's why he joined hands with One Shadow Nine Fists and stays on his island. No matter the country they will become a target since they are Fortuna's children." stated Petroski

"So if I don't take care of them then they will begin to trouble my friends again," Kenichi said as he let go of Petroski's shoulder and stood up.

Petroski winced in pain as Kenichi let go of him but he didn't have the time to breathe as Natasha was upon him.

"Now my questions commander," Natasha said with a smile but seeing that smile Petroski felt a chill down his spine.

"Na-Natalie listen to me!" said Petroski trying to reason with Natasha.

"That name isn't my name anymore Commander Petroski," Natasha said kicking the commander to his face.

"I want to know why you did it?" asked Natasha

"When Colonel Gaider attacked Red room you were on a mission and didn't know anything about it. By the time you returned most of the red room was destroyed. I didn't want to give up such a good weapon as you so I decided to keep the information from you. At first, I used your skills for only those people whom I wanted to finish but when your name spread and people started to ask about you to use your skills I decided to sell your skills for money. I-I have earned a lot and I can give them to you all of it Natasha just let me go" stated Petroski

"You think I would let you live after what you did to me. You made me a traitor to my country and a person wanted in many countries, you think I would let you go just for the sake of money?" asked Natasha while punching and kicking Petroski to release her anger.

"Wait!" Kenichi said stopping Natasha then turned his head towards Petroski and said "Those deals that you made on her behalf, do you have any proof of that?"

"Yes, yes my computer has records of everything," said Petroski as he hurriedly nodded his head.

Kenichi brought Natasha in a corner and whispered into his ears "Take everything from him, Nat, and then you can do whatever you want with him. You may not get exonerated with what he has but think of the money as the compensation, you don't really have to do what he says now so just get whatever he can give you and then deal with him any way you want."

"I don't need his money," Natasha said through her teeth.

"Yes, but you need to leave Russia now that you know that you are wanted and will need money for it. The only way you can earn more money is by doing what you have been doing up until now. Since he is the reason you are in such a position it's normal for him to get you out of it."
