Chapter 372: Kenichi's Declaration

'So this is the difference between us' thought Ethan as he pushed himself up, 'It's almost laughable. To think he was even able to counter Kalarippayattu, which is said to be the closest to the original art, after fighting with me for just a few minutes. Most people have trouble with it due to its origin, and yet he countered my moves after looking at them just once.'

'And I don't think that this fight has been useful for my fellow Yomi members, as I couldn't even make him use his full strength. They still won't be able to find a way to counter or even fight him as he hasn't really shown what he is really capable of.' concluded Ethan taking a glance at Sho, Rachel, and Chikage who were watching the match with razor focus, 'I am not even sure that after seeing this fight they will get inspired or lose their will and fighting spirit just like what is happening to me. But I can't stop now if Shirahama can reach such a level so can I, all I need is to focus and work hard now that I know my sister will be safe with him.'

Ethan charged forward, using the Boar stance to rush through Kenichi's defense. Even with this Kenichi didn't dodge the attack and stood at his position using his hands to stop the charge of Ethan, the whole strength of Ethan's body was stopped by Kenichi who didn't even move from his position and elbowed the back of Ethan making him kneel right in front of Kenichi after which a fast knee to the chin, threw his body backward knocking him out.

Thankfully Kenichi didn't use his ki or his full physical strength otherwise Ethan's jaw would have shattered and his life would have been in danger but now his jaw is only dislocated.

"The fight is over," declared Chikage, "Ryozanpaku, Shirahama Kenichi is the winner"

"Let this be a reminder to you all. You may be aiming for me but I am aiming for your master's. We are not in the same league anymore don't challenge me again unless you have the confidence to beat me or at least move me." said Kenichi as he looked at the 3 other Yami members.

None of the 3 could say anything back to Kenichi as he had clearly shown the gap between himself and them.

After saying that Kenichi looked at straight at Rachel making her stare back in his eyes, "I don't want to send someone to get you back so come back on your own when Ethan wakes up."

After saying his piece he turned and walked away, Saeko, Renka, and Miu jumped down from the place they were standing and followed behind Kenichi.

The next day Boris met Kenichi and thanked him for the match after which the two parts ways. Boris went to India with his master as he trusted Kenichi will keep his sister safe.

Of course, Kenichi along with Miu, Renka, and Saeko came to send him off along with his sister as he knew Boris needed a proper send-off, to which the silent guy was appreciative of.

In the middle of the night near a shopping district, two police officers were patrolling the streets when their flashlight shone up on someone's back.

"Hey what are you doing here?" questioned one of the officers.

The figure turned around to reveal a half-naked bald man with ki flowing in his eyes the officers couldn't help but take a step back in fear and caution especially noticing the muscles around the man starting to bulge suddenly the man roared as he rushed towards them to attack the officers couldn't pull out their pistols as the grim reaper came for them.

Suddenly, Natsu jumped in between them blocking the punch with one hand while unlocking the officers out with his other hand.

"It seems this person won't stop fighting until everyone in the area is taken out" mused Natsu "You two officers will just get in the way so go to sleep."

Meanwhile, Sogetsu spun his pocket watch before stopping it taking a peek at the time "You have one minute."

The bald man growled in anger as he fired an uppercut at Natsu, who blocked it but not without wincing in pain.

"I see... because he released too much too ki hi he has lost his mind but in return, it made his punches much stronger" hissed before dodging a downward punch, with Sogetsu giving Natsu a warning about his opponent's strength and what would happen if he exceeded the time limit.

Natsu parried another downward punch, using the momentum to land a counter into his opponent's stomach after forcing the men to stagger, Natsu quickly jumped past the man, spinning in the air to land a backhand strike on the man's skull.

Senpou Hirai Geki Kou Nou!

The berserk fighter staggered before whirling around, trying to get Natsu with a desperate grab, only for Natsu to duck under.

Geki Tou Chou Chuu

Natsu finished the fight with an elbow right into the man's body, crumpling the fighter and knocking him unconscious.

"Not bad" hummed Sogetsu as Natsu shifted his attention to Sogetsu, but not quite leaving his eyes from his opponent to not be surprised.

Truth be told, Natsu had two, maybe three minutes before the berserk fighter would have overwhelmed him. Still, he had to put some sort of time limit to push Natsu.

That was to be expected as not only have Sogetsu been training Natsu seriously but the kid had also learned under Kensei and even sparred against Kenichi, Renka, Miu, and Saeko from time to time.

Though Kenichi wasn't serious since they were training but it had helped Natsu a lot.

'Thankfully, I don't have to worry about Kaede coming after me for not taking care of his brother. Since she started learning under that weapon mistress of Ryozanpaku.

"Why did you call for me?" asked Natsu as he entered one of the empty classrooms in the school.

"Well, since Honoka and Kaede have been getting better at their training Shigure and Apachai have decided to take them to an amusement park for the day. Since it's a surprise for the two they wouldn't know about it, so I just wanted to tell you to not worry if Kaede comes home late or doesn't come home as she may stay with Honoka. Though I am sure she will inform you if she stays for the night." Kenichi explained.

"Thanks for the info, anything else?" asked Natsu

"Yeah, take care of yourself don't get hurt, and come back safely. I don't want Kaede to be unhappy if something happens to you."
