Chapter 1367: Breaking The Barrier

Since he learned how to craft the Myriad Tinted Cloud Talisman, Shang Xia created more than 10 of them. A good portion of them went to the Wanyun Association.

Shang Xia might have seen Shen Chongshan use it, and he used 1 himself when he ran into trouble back then and didn’t wish to reveal his identity, his understanding of the talisman paled in comparison to the Wanyun Association.

Now, the Wanyun Association was showing him the correct way to use the talisman as he noticed how the effects of the talisman fused completely with their protection barrier around the Star Ships.

Thinking about their floating city, Shang Xia realized that since the city was countless times larger than the Star Ship, it made sense that they were able to escape from a behemoth like the Chen Dynasty.

He extended his divine soul to notice spatial fluctuations in 5 different directions. Those ships seemed to be advancing at the same time and were even stronger than the massive Star Ship he was on.

Other than that, there was another ship behind the main ship of the Wanyun Association that was traveling closely behind them and was pouring energy into them without a care in the world.

If Shang Xia wasn’t mistaken, the ship that was supplying them with energy was the last ship of the fleet and it was also the ship Zhang Shun personally took charge of.

What Shang Xia found to be a surprise was the fact that even though both Capital Star Ships were storing energy to break through the heavenly screen, the Twin Star Pirates seemed a little weaker. However, there was something interesting about the energy they stored.

The experts of the Spirit Dawn World who had discovered their actions also launched a ferocious counterattack.

From what Shang Xia could see, 7 powerful vortexes appeared above their heavenly screen, drawing all the energy around them.

At the same time, many smaller spots appeared beneath the heavenly screen and Shang Xia felt that those should be the Star Ships the various powers of the world managed to scramble. Their main goal was to probably stop the charge of the 4 ships.

As the battle was about to reach its climax, a burst of profound light appeared in the depths of the sea of stars.

Looking behind the ship, Shang Xia had a feeling the Star Ships that appeared were probably those sent out by the Spirit Dawn World and were intercepted by the other ships as they returned.

Standing on the deck, Shang Xia stared straight at the pillar of light that had formed which was comparable to the size of half the ship.

The pillar of light contained an immense might, and even though they were thousands of miles apart at the moment, Shang Xia felt his scalp tingling as though a calamity was about to befall him.

Extending his soul into the depths of the ship, he felt that the only thing that could stop the pillar of light from destroying them all was the Wanyun Association Fleet’s ability to wield Seventh Order energy.

Shang Xia was no stranger to Seventh Order energy. The might of the pillar of light had already reached that level and he knew the only thing that could stop it was an attack of the same level!

What caused his heart to sink was when he felt the energy still gathering within the ship. Its aura was growing steadily, but it was too slow!

Shang Xia pinched his glabella instinctively and felt the Crimson Soul Tablet thumping in his sea of consciousness.

As soon as he felt it, a wave of calm washed over it. However, he also forcefully suppressed whatever the tablet planned to do.

It was then that Gong Zhuo’s voice came from behind him, “True Immortal Shang, you are calm indeed... When I first saw an attack of this caliber, I was unable to stay as collected as you.”

Shang Xia didn’t turn his head while chuckling, “I’m alright... I just believe that your Wanyun Association won’t waste the lives of everyone on your Capital Star Ship.”

Shang Xia heard some small pops coming from the interior of the ship, as though it was about to shatter the next moment.

Despite taking the attack, Shang Xia could feel that they were still gathering more energy. It also showed no signs of being released.

They were still waiting to unleash their Seventh Order energy at the Spirit Dawn World!

With the blazing light slowly weakening around the ship, Shang Xia could see the other ships continuing to rush forward. They had already advanced thousands of miles.

The pillar of light shattered the void as soon as it appeared, and it exploded when it was thousands of miles away from the Spirit Dawn World’s heavenly screen. It turned into a huge ball of energy that scattered all over the heavenly screen while also conveniently blocking the 7 huge vortexes.

“Is it that simple?” Shang Xia frowned and looked at Gong Zhuo.

If they could stop the other side’s attack by blocking their sight, it would be too much of a joke...

A mysterious smile appeared on Gong Zhuo’s face and he muttered softly, “Of course that’s not everything the Twin Star Pirates can do. Just sit back and watch!”
