Chapter 104: Chapter 104 Andrew Wilson
"That's the only explanation," Snow Fazlin nodded slowly. After all, people dying was a common occurrence in Veloria City; an occasional spirit warrior's fall was not out of the ordinary.
On the street.
"I heard that several spirit Imperials ambushed and killed Blaze Regret last night. Is that true?" Sky Nasrul looked at the white figures flashing before him, feeling quite shocked.
It was hard for him to imagine that someone he had fought alongside not long ago was now separated by life and death.
"I thought he was someone impressive, but he turned out to be just a piece of trash, dying just like that."
Behind Sky Nasrul, beside Sky Diana, a proud looking young man sneered disdainfully.
"Andrew Wilson, how can you talk like that?" Sky Diana, upon hearing this, frowned slightly. The look in her beautiful eyes at the young man beside her was full of displeasure.
No matter what, Blaze Regret had saved her and Sky Nasrul several times and had brought some benefits to the Sky family from the Angsana Pavilion. Hearing Andrew Wilson speak so ill of Blaze Regret, she couldn't help but feel some instinctive disgust.
"Diana, I'm just curious how that kid managed to defeat Snow Amar. You know, Snow Amar and I have played together since we were kids, and I know his strength very well. For someone who just stepped into the realm of spirit warrior to kill his Withered Wood Demon, he must have used some despicable means."
Seeing Sky Diana's face suddenly turn cold, Andrew Wilson's hostility towards Blaze Regret grew even stronger, and his words became even more venomous.
Sky Diana's rosy lips moved slightly. She turned her face away, ultimately choosing not to retort.
Now, she only cared about whether Blaze Regret was still alive. Through the recent events, she had clearly recognized Andrew Wilson's nature, so she couldn't be bothered to say a word.
Seeing this, Sky Nasrul let out a bitter laugh. Indeed, when comparing people to each other, the difference was vast. Blaze Regret was also very proud, but his pride was internal, unlike Andrew Wilson's, which was always on display.
In simple terms, it's arrogance.
But being a fourth rank spirit warrior, did he have the right to be arrogant in front of Blaze Regret...
Sky Nasrul's eyes flickered. After fully refining the Essense Milk, Blaze Regret's Blue Flame Demon Cat should have advanced to the second rank, right? If he's still alive, even facing Andrew Wilson, he might not be without a chance of winning.
"What a pity, I wanted to teach that kid a lesson myself. Now it seems, I don't even need to step in personally."
As if not sensing the change in the atmosphere, Andrew Wilson continued muttering to himself, with a rather regretful expression on his face.
"Second Elder, we've searched everywhere but found no trace of Blaze Regret."
Blaze Tut, riding on a Black Wind Panther, brought up a trail of dust and wind as he quickly approached Blaze Peter, his voice extremely bitter.
Even though he didn't want to believe it, according to Blaze Ash's analysis, at least three spirit Imperials appeared last night. Under such circumstances, Blaze Regret was likely in grave danger.
"If you can't find him, keep looking. If you can't find him in the city and back mountion at back of Blaze Family, look outside the city!" Blaze Peter glared at Blaze Tut and roared.
"Yes." Blaze Tut nodded bitterly, slapped his Black Wind Panther, and was about to turn around.
"Whoosh!"
At that moment, a faint whooshing sound suddenly came from a distance, followed by an increasingly rapid sound of something cutting through the air. A Blue red, demonic figure darted over at an incredible speed and gracefully landed in the middle of the scene.
"What's going on?" Blaze Regret, sitting on the back of the Blue Flame Demon Cat, looked around at the many astonished faces and frowned in confusion.
"You... you're alive?" Blaze Peter stared intently at Blaze Regret, his breathing becoming noticeably rapid.
"When did I ever die?" Blaze Regret said with a wry smile, but he quickly understood. The commotion from last night had indeed been quite significant.
"Hey, are you Blaze Regret?"
Suddenly, an arrogant voice came from one side of the road. Andrew Wilson shout over, his eyes briefly glancing at the poised Sky Diana, his desire to show off intensifying. "I thought you were dead. Didn't expect you to be so lucky and survive."
"Who are you?" Blaze Regret looked at the approaching Andrew Wilson in surprise.
"Oh, I'm a friend of Snow Amar," Andrew Wilson said arrogantly upon seeing that Blaze Regret was only a second rank spirit warrior. "I'm not sure what underhanded methods you used to defeat Snow Amar, but if possible, I'd like to see them."
Though he seemed to be negotiating, Andrew Wilson had already summoned a beast entirely covered in crackling lightning, a Thunder Mammoth. Lightning arcs danced rapidly across its pristine tusks.
The White Thunder Tusk, a mid fourth rank spirit beast of the warrior class. Andrew Wilson had once used it to kill a fifth rank spirit warrior, showcasing its considerable strength.
"Ridiculous!"
The joy in Blaze Peter's heart slowly faded, replaced by anger. How shameless for a fourth rank spirit warrior to bully a second rank spirit warrior!
"Andrew Wilson, what exactly do you want?"
Sky Diana was furious. She had initially thought Andrew Wilson was just talking big, but she hadn't expected him to actually challenge Blaze Regret, a mere second rank spirit warrior, as a fourth rank spirit warrior.
"This is going too far," Sky Nasrul also shook his head.
Seeing this, the onlookers around them also showed displeasure in their eyes. If it were Blaze Regret challenging Andrew Wilson, one could say he had courage. But for the strong to bully the weak, what kind of skill was that?
Feeling the many needle like gazes on his back, Andrew Wilson's face changed. But soon, all his inner embarrassment turned into anger, directed entirely at Blaze Regret. "Do you dare or not?"
