Chapter 123: Chapter 123 Blue Wing Flower 1

As Blaze Regret's eyes scanned around for the key, the lava octopus that had been hiding and secretly consuming the essence of the Flame sun fish suddenly rolled its eyes. It opened its mouth slightly and spat out a rusty key.

The lava octopus raised the key high with its tentacles, looking somewhat pleased with itself.

"A key?" Blaze Regret felt a bit dazed. Just when he needed one, it appeared. Seeing the smug look on the lava octopus, he suddenly felt a sense of unreality.

After wiping off the liquid on it, Blaze Regret gently inserted the key into the lock. With a creaking sound, the stone walls on both sides quickly parted and moved away.

Watching the moving stone walls, Blaze Regret breathed a sigh of relief and immediately commanded four Night Feather Fireflies to fly in. Their faint light dispelled the darkness behind the stone wall.

"Boom!"

Red opened its mouth and spat, causing a Blue flare to explode inside, but no reaction followed. Only then did Blaze Regret feel reassured enough to walk in slowly, though his body remained tense, ready to respond to any sudden situation.

The space behind the stone wall was a vast dark room.

Blaze Regret's gaze wandered around before finally focusing on a table in the middle of the room. On the tabletop was an exotic Blue flower, blooming mysteriously, with a faint Blue glow flowing over its petals.

As Blaze Regret stared at the flower, he suddenly had a strange feeling. It seemed that the flower had only half bloomed and hadn't fully opened.

"What a beautiful flower."

Blaze Regret's steps moved uncontrollably towards the table. Suddenly, a blue light blade shot out violently from the stone wall on the right, slashing fiercely at Blaze Regret.

"Hmph, if one dies, so be it. Why leave all this troublesome stuff behind?"

Master Magi waved his sleeve, and with a sweep of wind, Blaze Regret quickly retreated. The blue light blade embedded itself into the opposite stone wall with a clang. Immediately, countless light blades shot out from both sides of the stone walls, creating streaks of afterimages.

"That flower is strange!" Blaze Regret's face turned extremely grim. He was almost sliced into pieces.

"It's not the flower; it's the stone table beneath the flower," Master Magi shook his head slightly. He opened his palm and then clenched it abruptly. The blue light blades that had been shooting incessantly suddenly froze in mid air and then shattered with a crisp crack.

"Now, go ahead."

Floating in front, Master Magi saw Blaze Regret, who was still shaken, and motioned for him to follow. Blaze Regret hurriedly followed while cursing the instigator under his breath. He was just a spiritual warrior; even if he knew what was inside, he wouldn't be able to handle it.

"But something doesn't seem right," Blaze Regret muttered as he walked. He had only made it past the magma with Master Magi's help. If it were anyone else without the strength of a spirit Lord, they wouldn't even think about coming here.

With a wave of his sleeve, a faint white mist spread over the surface of the stone table. The curious lava octopus that followed immediately felt drowsy and finally collapsed powerlessly to the ground.

"Netherworld Flower powder. This substance can bewilder the mind, and even spiritual Lord can't resist it," Master Magi explained.

"And this flower..." Blaze Regret glanced at Red, who was eyeing the flower greedily, and couldn't help but ask.

"Blue Wing Flower. It's said that when it fully blooms, each petal will spread out like wings in the wind, hence the name. As for its specific effects, you'll have to wait for your Flame Cat to refine it," Master Magi's words confirmed Blaze Regret's suspicion that the flower had only half bloomed.

"Can it be ripened?" Blaze Regret looked at Master Magi with an eager expression, much like the lava octopus earlier. The feeling of only being able to see but not use the flower was excruciating; it was almost better not to have discovered it at all.

"Ripening it is too difficult. This kind of flower is extremely fragile. However, as long as there's an abundance of fire elemental energy, this flower will surely bloom ahead of time."

Master Magi smiled faintly and with a swirl of his sleeve, the scattered crimson liquid outside the stone wall quickly gathered and merged into a single mass. In the palm of Master Magi's hand, it spun wildly, becoming visibly more concentrated.

"Go."

Master Magi flicked his finger, and the fire red liquid floated above the eerie flower. After hovering for a moment, it gently dripped down.

The fire liquid flowed into the heart of the flower. The Blue wing flower was surrounded by a faint mist, and each petal quickly unfurled.

"Not enough."

Master Magi said calmly, opening his palm and aiming at the lava lake outside, then clenching his fist abruptly.

"Boom!"

Pillars of lava shot up instantly, along with flying Flame sun fish. All those fish exploded, turning into droplets of red liquid that gathered into Master Magi's palm.

Seeing this, Blaze Regret felt an overwhelming urge to curse. Only then did he realize that he had been tricked by Master Magi.

"Cultivation is too tense; it's good to relax a bit."

Master Magi chuckled mischievously. The dense liquid in his palm dripped down, causing the Blue wing flower to sway, exuding a vibrant life force.

As the droplets fell, the purple flower became more and more radiant. Each petal was so dense it seemed ready to drip with water. When they slightly spread, they looked like luxurious wings.

"Did it succeed?" Blaze Regret asked, delighted as he looked at the Blue wing flower.

"Whoosh!"

Just as Blaze Regret's delighted voice echoed, the Blue wing flower suddenly trembled. Beams of light intertwined around it, rapidly breaking free from the soil in the flowerpot and shooting towards the stone wall.

"I knew it."

Master Magi grinned. A powerful suction force erupted from his palm, causing the blue wing flower to feel as if it was stuck in mud, unable to move.
