Under Super Base Form, Lin Shen's flesh and blood also turned into the same state as his carapace, resembling a pure Base Variant Creature, losing the flesh and blood body typical of a human.

This seemed to be a good thing for Lin Shen.

Typically, a creature's carapace is stronger than its flesh, like how Wei was able to use his strength to attack through the carapace directly into the flesh, which is very effective against some advanced Humanoid Lifeforms.

But in Super Base Form, Lin Shen was uniform inside and out, rendering the power that could penetrate through bodies ineffective against him.
