Super Gene Ⅱ: Evolution

Chapter 512 512

The situation now is something they never even dreamed of.

A member of a minor race actually dared to assault an Ascender of the Di Man Tribe, and even managed to beat him at that.

If they were to step forward now, even an Ascender of the Di Man Tribe couldn't win, wouldn't they be sending themselves to death?

If they didn't step up, fleeing in the face of battle, they feared the Di Man Tribe wouldn't let them off the hook later. They found themselves caught between a rock and a hard place, not knowing whether to stay or go.

The only one who had run away early was Wan Guliu, who was now nowhere to be seen.

Lin Shen didn't care about their troubles, landing beside that member of the Di Man Tribe, pointed his folding fan at the man's head and said, "Are we still fighting or not?"

"No more fighting, no more fighting," the beaten Di Man Member, still covered in the Mysterious Light Pattern, his Attributes weakened by nearly half, didn't dare to talk back.

He wasn't considered a top fighter within the Di Man Tribe to begin with, capable only of showing off in front of the minor races.

"Since you're not fighting, then transfer your points over," Lin Shen said.

"Didn't you say we could work together?" the Ascender of the Di Man Tribe said, eyes shifting.

"We can cooperate, but you still need to pay an entry fee first," Lin Shen said with a smile.

The Ascender of the Di Man Tribe knew he had to transfer his points; he didn't know whether his opponent was some naïve fool or someone with a background, completely disregarding his identity as a member of the Di Man Tribe.

After transferring his points to Lin Shen, the Di Man Member was about to say something, but then he saw Lin Shen pointing his fan at the Ascenders in the sky and shouted, "What are you waiting for? If you don't hand over your points and join us, are you waiting to be beaten up? Transfer your points to Elephant Man."

"What are you standing around for, give up your points," the Ascender of the Di Man Tribe started to shout alongside him.

After his shouting, those Ascenders, with strange expressions on their faces, transferred their points to Elephant Man.

Lin Shen looked at the Ascender of the Di Man Tribe with a hint of surprise, not expecting him to cooperate so readily.

"Brother, your Weakening Skill is very strong. If the two of us, both strong, join forces, we could rob anyone we want, aside from big shots like Di Esi," said the Ascender of the Di Man Tribe standing next to Lin Shen, not caring about his wounds, painting a rosy picture of the future.

"You take thirty, I'll take seventy," Lin Shen said directly.

"Isn't that a little too little? Let's split it fifty-fifty," Land said.

"Twenty-eight," Lin Shen said emotionlessly.

"Fine, thirty-seventy it is," Land quickly agreed, knowing the man he was dealing with was not easy to talk to, and that arguing might cause a fallout.

Lang and the rest were dumbfounded. They couldn't believe that after being beaten and robbed of points, a member of the Di Man Tribe had actually joined the team. This seemed somewhat uncharacteristic of the typically domineering Di Man People.

Watching Elephant Man's points increase, they felt envious but didn't regret their previous decision; as desirable as the points were, they couldn't risk crossing the Di Man Tribe for them.

Now, the member of the Di Man Tribe seemed friendly enough, but who knew if he would turn hostile after they left.

"You must contribute to share in the profits; if you don't contribute, it's the same as forfeiting your previous benefits. You all understand this, right?" Lin Shen had no intention of letting them go and looked at Lang and the others with a smile as he spoke.

"Of course... as it should be..." the others hastily nodded in agreement, grateful that Lin Shen wasn't settling scores with them.

With the addition of Land and others to the team, the range of their potential targets greatly expanded.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Given the current status of the Di Man Tribe in the universe, there were hardly any they dared not rob.

At first, Lang and the others were timid, but with Land playing the ringleader and the brashness of the Elephant Man, combined with the growing number of team members, they gradually let loose and began to rob freely.

As the team grew in size, no matter which race of Ascenders they encountered, they would rob them all the same.

Those who failed to see the times they were in would face a barrage of Life Bases from the numerous Ascenders, and even a general Tenth Turn Ascender would not be able to withstand it.

Soon, their team had grown into a force of over a thousand Ascenders, and at Lin Shen's command, thousands of Life Bases were unleashed, creating an incredibly imposing sight.

Land had originally intended to just hold Lin Shen back, waiting for him to encounter formidable fighters from the Di Man Tribe before dealing with him.

However, as the team grew stronger and robbed several of the top hundred ranked races, Land suddenly realized that with the situation as it was, he was gaining points faster than if he had been robbing alone.

The people he had no strength to rob on his own now simply required his command, and thousands of Life Bases would come raining down. Few Ascenders could stand against it and all would obediently surrender their points.

Moreover, the team kept growing rapidly. Lin Shen even devised a hierarchy of squad leaders, chief squad leaders, and overall squad leaders among others, and even recruited members who were ranked in the top hundred of races, somehow turning this ragtag group into a formidable army.

The team had already caught the attention of many, as the elimination competition usually saw each fighter for themselves, at most members of the same race would cooperate. A coalition of different races joining forces in battle like this was something many had never seen before.

"That human is quite interesting," Catherine said with some surprise.

"Opportunist," Tia retorted, not very fond of Lin Shen. She preferred the romantic heroism of individualists like Lin Xiangdong.

"You don't understand. While individual martial power is important, the ability to unite a team is equally precious. Moreover, the Ascenders on the Planet Battlefield come from different races, to establish such a team in such a short time, and to form combat effectiveness, that's no easy feat," Catherine explained.

"Really?" Tia looked unconvinced and with a pout, she said, "Still, the Undefeated King is more stylish."

Catherine shook her head helplessly, choosing not to argue further.

The Heavenly Emperor lay on the clouds, with beauties peeling grapes for him.

"That kid's got some ability," he mused, enjoying the service of the beauties while watching the scene unfold in the sky. Surprisingly, he was not focusing on the Immortal Planet Battlefield, which was of utmost importance to the Celestial Race, but was instead watching Lin Shen.

"Dean Shen's ability to unite Other Races is truly outstanding," An Rong commented from the side.

Her words seemed to have an underlying sting, as the Celestial Race was notably xenophobic, rarely valuing those without Celestial blood.

In saying this about Lin Shen, An Rong undeniably suggested that the Heavenly Emperor might question whether Lin Shen would form factions with Other Races.

"Without even this bit of ability, how would one be fit to be the Dean of the Celestial Master Institute." The Heavenly Emperor, however, seemed to misunderstand the implication of An Rong's words and said with a smile, appearing very pleased with Lin Shen's performance.

"As the Heavenly Emperor says." Di Rong, seeing the Heavenly Emperor's reaction, didn't dare say more, lest he displease him.

As the team grew more massive, more and more people turned their attention to Lin Shen's team.

"What's that situation? A team of ten thousand Ascenders? And composed of members from different races?"

"Damn it, the Phoenix Clan's Ascenders were robbed."

"Haha, that guy still tried to act all high and mighty. As soon as tens of thousands of Life Bases appeared, he nearly wet himself with fright."

"Damn, if the elimination game plays out like this, who can stand against them? Even Di Esi would have to back off."

"In such a short amount of time, their numbers have already reached ten thousand."
