"Are you sure about that, Naeth?" The black Amaris asked with a raised eyebrow, especially since she and her twin sister had been searching for Janette for so long. Unfortunately, their efforts for the past two years had never been successful because she had fled to the human realm, and they could not set foot there under the watchful eyes of the people from the other two realms.

Naeth answered her question with a nod. "I do not know where it came from, but this news has spread quickly in this sub-realm, and I have ordered some of them to go to the Dryad Forest to verify the truth of this news."

The black Amaris then turned to her twin sister. "Do you think someone deliberately spread false news about Janette's return?"

"That is possible." The white Amaris then picked up a white book beside her throne and opened it, and there were so many unusual demon-beast images on every page of the book. When she reached the middle page, she stopped and placed her index finger on a picture of a four-winged white demon bird before using her power.

Instantly, the four-winged white demon bird came out of the page of the book and flew quickly away from the tower. The white Amaris then waved her hand, causing a small cluster of white clouds to rise in front of them, revealing everything the demon bird had seen.

Ashreth and the female demon, who was kneeling on the floor, looked amazed at the white Amaris's ability. The four-winged white demon bird had quickly left their sub-realm to head to the Dryad Forest, arriving there after some time had passed.

In the small cluster of white clouds, the Amaris Twins could see that Janette was indeed in the Dryad Forest, so they immediately ordered Naeth and several other demons to move there as quickly as possible, and they also asked the other demons to return to their respective places.

However, the black Amaris abruptly stopped Ashreth and questioned her. "Aren't you going to report to me about the arrival of that succubi?"

"Yes, my lord." Ashreth replied with a nod. "In that case, I will go to Lord Zygoz's sub-realm to investigate Feltia's background in person, and I will report everything to you if I find anything suspicious about her."

The black Amaris fell into thought as she looked at Ashreth, who had started to walk away. "If you do find anything suspicious about Feltia, then you must capture and bring her here, and I will use my other abilities to find out her purpose in coming to this sub-realm."

Naeth didn't say anything and ordered some other demons to tie up the fake Janette with a special device, and they immediately took her away from the Dryad forest afterward.

After the Amaris Twins's subordinates left, some senior Dryads came to Lillea and asked about the matter directly, and she spoke to them to calm them down. "You guys don't need to worry about my daughter, because she is fine somewhere else, and the woman they just brought is my fake daughter.

You guys should pretend not to know about this matter and never discuss it outside; otherwise, they might find out the truth, which would endanger our race."

"All right, you can go now." After they left, Lillea was surprised by the sudden appearance of a man she did not expect, and she wanted to stand up to greet him, but he immediately stopped her.

Zhang Fei told me some things from your previous conversation, but I am a native of this realm, so I understand some things better than he does, and I believe that you have other purposes in doing this."

"Haha!" Oz laughed at that. "You do have good observation, Lillea. You're right, I do have another reason, which is related to my predecessor."

"The first demon lord?"

"Yes." Oz nodded to Lillea before explaining. "For thousands of years, I have always felt strange about the disappearance of my predecessor. I have tried to find traces of him for that long, but I have never managed to find any clues about it. After contemplating the matter for a considerable amount of time, I came to the conclusion that one of his twelve aides was a traitor.

Zygoz also agreed with me, so we immediately planned for my disappearance."

"Traitor among the twelve?" Lillea softly muttered and thought about it before asking Oz. "Do you think that Virgil is the traitor? After all, she is the second-oldest after Zygoz, and she also has the power of light."

"No." Oz immediately denied this. "Virgil does have the power of light, but I fully believe that she is not the traitor. Even so, I cannot be sure who among them is the traitor, but I might be able to find out the truth after one of them ascends to become the third demon lord. Unfortunately, it won't happen anytime soon, especially now that their powers are equal."

Lillea agreed with that. "So, which one of them do you suspect is the traitor?"

"The white Amaris." Lillea raised her eyebrows upon hearing Oz's answer. "She is the second demon who has the power of light, but she never used it in front of anyone, including her twin sister. Unfortunately, I have not found any evidence of her involvement in the disappearance of my predecessor, so I have not made any moves against her."

Oz's words made Lillea realize several things. "Is that why you met Zhang Fei before he left for the Amaris Twins's sub-realm?"

"Yeah." However, Oz let out a heavy sigh before speaking again. "Actually, I hope that the human kid is willing to become the next demon lord, especially since I'm tired of everything. Unfortunately, this realm is too small for him, and his ambition is too high, so he rejected my request. "
